Inscription:
Frontispiece to album 2 inscribed, "An Account of the Internment by the Germans of Kathleen and Fanny Twemlow in 1940-41". Drawings in album 1 frequently inscribed with location, subject, and date; drawn mostly in Besançon and Vittel. Authors are identified by on a slip inserted to album 2 as "An English Woman interned in Nazi-occupied France"; the diary recounts the story of their internment.
