Watermark: countermark of coat of arms with a fleur-de-lis (similar to Heawood 627), on drawings, 1, 3, and 4.
Six etchings, numbered from one to six, five of which depict the life and labors of Hercules; four red chalk drawings, the first of which has apparently been counterproofed in the preparation of the title page.

Inscription: 

Inscribed on the title page in pen and brown ink, "Le l.er Liure de / Diuers Ornements / de feuillages, en / forme de pannaeaux- / a l'usage de ceux / qui excercent le dessein / inuentez et grauez / par androuet ducerceau"; numbered at lower left in graphite, "I".
