This drawing can be related to the artist's view of Paestum in the Abbé de Saint-Non's "Voyage pittoresque", which is also in the collection of the Library (Acc. No. PML 62643).
Signed at lower left, in red chalk, "Roberti 1760"; inscribed in pen and brown ink, possibly by the artist, at lower center, "vue d'est (?) des Temples de", and, in a different ink, "a" (superimposed over the "de") "pestum" and "Roberti f(?)".
Watermark: Fleur-de-lis within a circle, surmounted by a crown.
