Notes: 

Ms. book of hours for the use of Sarum (Hours of the Virgin); written and illuminated in England, perhaps in Winchester, in the 1490s.
Wieck, in "Painted Prayers" (1997) suggests that the manuscript was made for a child since it begins with an alphabet (on fol. 1r) and basic prayers like the Pater Noster, Hail Mary, and Apostles' Creed.
