Ms. single leaf from a Qurʾan, written and decorated in the 10th century.
Text: sura 41, Fuṣṣilat (Explained), verses 13-15.
Decoration: written in brownish ink with gold, red, and green dots indicating vocalization; a gold rosette with a pale green center follows each verse.
Mounted in a card frame which is probably 19th century Indian; constructed of strips of paper colored magenta with gold, white, purple, and black on the recto and aquamarine with gold, white, magenta, and black on the verso.
