Binding: 
Apple green silk; the doublures and their facing flyleaves are covered with light blue satin cloth; verso of first flyleaf has stamped on it the name of the English bookbinders Clarke and Bedford and the bookplates of Burnham Abbey (James Toovey) and the Pierpont Morgan Library.

Purchased by J. Pierpont Morgan (1837-1913) in 1899.
