Ms. book of hours for the use of Rome (Hours of the Virgin); written and illuminated in the Tournai region of Belgium, 1450-1460, with later additions ca. 1550.
Decoration: 1 full-page miniature without border, 21 full-page miniatures with full borders.
Artist: Master of Morgan 78, working in Bruges in the 1450s, a follower or imitator of the Master of the Bruges Lepers' House Missal (Meister des Brügger Leprosenhaus-Missales). Cf.
