Notes: 

Ms. leaves from a calendar for the use of Tournai (Translatio Sci. Eleutherii August 25, Tournai),written and illuminated in Belgium, perhaps Liège, ca. 1250.
Decoration: 9 unframed vignettes depicting the occupations for January (M.908.1), April, May (M.908.2), June, July (M.908.3), August, September (M.908.4), October, and November (M.908.5).
Texts: M.908.1 recto: an inscription in French, dated 1315, making some reference to hunting after the feast of the Holy Cross (14 September) on a date called moraturi (included in the calendar for September, on the verso of M.908.4); M.908.1 verso: Calendar for January; M.908.2 recto: Calendar for April; M.908.2 verso: Calendar for May; M.908.3 recto: Calendar for June; M.908.3 verso: Calendar for July; M.908.4 recto: Calendar for August; M.908.4 verso: Calendar for September; M.908.5 recto: Calendar for October; M.908.5 verso: Calendar for November.
