Cross-hatching added to the back of the neck, some horizontal lines of shading added to the right side of the cap band. The shadow on the left of the cap appears to have been burnished and then reshaded more lightly. (White and Boon)
Etching by Rembrandt only known in later states reworked by a pupil.
