CANCELED

Rush Hour Music in J. Pierpont Morgan’s Library
Celebrated artists perform chamber music from Baroque to contemporary in the intimate and sumptuous surroundings of J. Pierpont Morgan’s Library. All concerts last approximately one hour.

Tabea Debus, recorder, and Paul Morton, theorbo, guitar
Ohrwurm explores how tunes and dances made their way into many aspects of music-making in seventeenth- and eighteenth-century Europe – and, in traversing the centuries, contemporary compositions testify to the earworm’s secured place in modern life. Works by John Dowland, Johann Sebastian Bach, Andrea Falconieri, and Diego Ortiz, among others.

"Only very rarely do we get the chance to encounter musicians in full artistic control and
bestowed with a technical ability that makes you sit and listen in awe."–EARLY MUSIC REVIEW Review
