Get the royal treatment when you join us in person for our early morning family program! Take an exclusive tour of Holbein: Capturing Character  while the galleries are closed to the public. After, join Simon Levenson, National Arts Club drawing instructor, for an interactive lesson in portrait making. Your child will be the artist and you their patron as they create a masterpiece fit for a king. All materials included.

The Morgan’s family programs offer a unique and engaging museum experience to learn about the process of creative expression. Our innovative art workshops and gallery experiences are designed for adults and children to enjoy together. They are limited to families and caregivers with children. Workshops may use special art materials and are intended for the age range listed.

In compliance with city guidelines, as of December 14 museum visitors ages 5–11 must show proof of at least one shot of a Covid-19 vaccine approved for emergency use by the FDA or the World Health Organization. As of December 27 visitors 12 and older must show proof of full Covid-19 vaccination in order to gain entry to the museum. All visitors must wear a mask for the duration of their visit.
