Explore the museum from home with a live interactive tour. Each program will take a closer look at objects in the Morgan’s Collection Online, ranging from ancient to modern. Participants will receive a creative prompt with each experience, for inspiration to write, read, or craft at home.
On Tuesday, September 1: Mesopotamian Messages
Personal biography. Political propaganda. Pious expression. Discover how familiar voices from the past can sound by examining a variety of inscribed Mesopotamian objects in the Morgan’s collection. Learn where the title “King of Kings” originated and discover Mesopotamian messages to future generations.
