The exhibition Invention and Design is intended to celebrate the publication of the first-ever catalogue of the Morgan’s collection of Italian Renaissance Drawings. In this opening night lecture, Rhoda Eitel-Porter, Editor of Print Quarterly and former Charles W. Engelhard Curator of Drawings at the Morgan and the primary author of the catalogue, will discuss the history of the collection while highlighting major themes in the exhibition and drawing attention to some of the greatest and most important Early Italian drawings at the Morgan.

The exhibition Invention and Design: Early Italian Drawings at the Morgan will be open for program attendees.
