Sarah Howgate
In celebration of the opening of the exhibition David Hockney: Drawing from Life, Sarah Howgate, Senior Curator of Contemporary Collections, National Portrait Gallery, London, will give a virtual presentation devoted to Hockney's portrait drawings. Featuring over 125 drawings, the exhibition traces a trajectory from Hockney’s early works as a student, to his Ingres-like portraits of the 1970s, and his innovative work with the iPad in the new millenium. The exhibition is organized by the National Portrait Gallery, London, in collaboration with the artist and the Morgan Library & Museum.

Please note that the program will take place online. After registering, participants will receive a confirmation email with instructions on how to participate using Zoom. We ask that you download the app in advance for the best user experience.
