Avant l'Orage — French String Trios 1926-1939 
Black Oak Ensemble, the Chicago-based string trio, makes their New York debut performing rarely heard French works for violin, viola, and cello written between the World Wars. Praised for their “fierce eloquence” (The Times, London), the Black Oak Ensemble is one of the most innovative chamber ensembles on the international stage. The exhibition The Little Prince: Taking Flight will be open at 5:30 PM for concert attendees.
