Description:

George of Cappadocia: Slaying Dragon―A nimbed George of Cappadocia, wearing armor and a white tunic inscribed with a red cross, is mounted on a horse. With a lance, he transfixes a dragon, which is lying amid bones strewn on the ground. In the distance, the Princess of Trebizond, stands on a hill raising both hands. Beyond, several figures, including a king, look on from a tower in a castle. In the background to the left are buildings of a city.
The scene is framed by a border decorated with garlands that have floreate ornament. A pendant (possibly a pilgrim badge) is in the left border attached to two garlands. The pendant has an image of Christ raising His right hand in blessing and holding a cross-staff. In the lower border, a pendant with an image of the Crucifixion is attached to two garlands. A fly is in the lower border.

Within a landscape, an executioner holds the head of a martyr, who is blindfolded and partially nude. The executioner raises a sword held in his right hand. The bodies of two martyrs, both beheaded, are on the ground beside the first martyr. Three men, including a horseman, look on. Beyond at the bottom of a hill, two tormentors raise scourges against two martyrs, who are partially nude and bound to a pole. A third tormentor kneels on the ground making a scourge by tying twigs together. On top of the hill, an executioner grasps the left arm of a partially nude martyr. Two executioners push two nude martyrs off the hill with pitchforks. At the bottom of the hill, three martyrs are impaled on trees. To the right of the hill, a group of figures, including soldiers and horsemen, stand below seven crucified martyrs affixed to tau crosses. All the martyrs are nimbed.

Description:

Ursula of Cologne: Massacre of Ursula and virgins—A soldier loads an arrow in a crossbow. Flanking him, two soldiers aim bows and arrows at a crowned Ursula, who is glancing upward, and several virgins, many of whom are pierced by arrows and dead. They are within a ship, along with Pope Cyricus, wearing a triple-crowned tiara, a woman wearing a headdress (Gerasina of Sicily?), and two men, one of whom is falling over the side of the boat. All the figures within the ship are nimbed. In the background on shore, men aim bows and arrows at two more ships carrying nimbed virgins. In the distance are buildings of a city within a landscape.

The scene is within an illusionistic wood frame.
