Summary: 

The Virgin's left arm originally held a figure of the Christ Child. Strongly influenced by French art, and stylistically related to the sculptures on the portal of Leon Cathedral and to the Madonna de la Leche in S. Maria Estany, Catalonia, this piece may be of French or Italian origin.
