Notes: 

Although copied from the Capture of Carthage painted by Giambattista Tiepolo for Ca' Dolfin around 1729 (now at the Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York), these studies by Domenico must be later and probably date to ca. 1754, after the family's return from Wurzburg and before Domenico's frescoes at the Chiesa dei Santi Faustino e Giovita, Brescia, in which a version of the figure appears.
