Inscribed at lower left, in pen and brown ink, "perino / del vaga;" on verso of cardboard, in pen and black ink, "Bonaccorsi (Perino) detto Perino del Vaga / né a Florence en 1500 ou 1501, mort en 1547 / Eléve de Raphael / Ce dessin acheté a Genéve en 1876 a Monsieur / Burillon provient de la Collection Galeozzi / C. Gase / h=0m, 185 / L=0m, 206."
