Expressing concern that Bagot's brother Chester is ill; noting that he and Mary Unwin went to visit [William] Hayley at Eartham; reporting that Mary Unwin is better, "but by no means so well as before this last indisposition seized her; not being able yet to rise from her seat or to walk without assistance"; saying that his own "spirits have been more dejected than is common even with [him], and the winter, now beginning, threatens [him] that [he] shall not soon be better."
