Summary: 

Saying her geography examination gives her a chance to draw for present with those who did not "miss." She played her piece well, and thinks that she will take part in the little--not the big--girls' concert. She is working hard for the French prize, is very fond of mending, and is having her striped and brown silks made up for Christmas. George, she hopes, is keeping up in his Latin.
