The drawing depicts the rear view of a part of the east wing of the Voergaard Castle, with the gateway constructed in 1588. Voergaard Castle, in North Jutland, about 10 km to the north of Dronninglund, is a two-winged or L-shaped castle, the north wing was constructed in 1520, the east wing 1586-91. -- Identification courtesy of Bent Sorensen.
