"Five hundred copies of this book have been printed from Jan van Krimpen's spectrum and Cancelleresca Bastarda types on handmande "Hayle" paper of the Hayle Mill, Maidstone, England, by Joh. Enschedé en Zonen, Haarlem, Holland. Two hundred (nos. 1-200) have been bound in full leather with all edges gilt, and three hundred (nos. 201-500) in Beau Brilliant cover paper, by Reliure du Centre S.A., Limoges, France. The sixteen stamps tipped in each copy were supplied by the author"--Colophon.
