A literal translation from Camden's Annales; it was first published in 1624, with dedication signed: Wil. Strangvage. In the opinion of John Scott, of Edinburgh (d. 1903) it was probably published, with Camden's sanction, by W. Udall under the pseudonym of Strangvage, and later, in 1636, under his real name.
