Inscribed at upper left, apparently by the artist, in black chalk, "op de lage meer" (?); at upper right, in brown ink, "8" (?) [partially obscured by framing line]. On the verso, at the upper left, in graphite, "843"; below left, "i/ / Van Goene"; and in lower right corner, in brown ink, ".P".
