Watermark: illegible.
Drawing with the second half of the composition is in the Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. The Morgan and Amsterdam sheets apparently have been separated since at least the beginning of the twentieth century.

Inscription: 

Inscribed (signed?) on verso, in a seventeenth-century hand, in red chalk, "D. Vinckeboons".
