Unidentified Italian collector (formerly associated with the so-called Borghese albums), probably a sixteenth-century Venetian, now tentatively identified as Zaccaria Sagredo (Lugt S. 2103a); Dr. Max A. Goldstein (according to Scholz records; no mark; see Lugt 2824); Julius Weitzner (dealer), New York; Janos Scholz (no mark; see Lugt S. 2933b).
