Owned by the Premonstatensians of St. Marie Rengeval, near Toul, France (monastery founded in 1152); probably still in the monastery in 1332 according to notes on fol. 1; no. 3012 in a French catalogue from ca. 1700; Sotheby's sale (London, Dec. 18, 1929) to Quaritch; purchased from Quaritch in 1929.
