Provenance:
Pedro de Francia, señor of Bureta (late 15th century); Count Antonio de Bureta of Saragossa (no. 16522 written in black ink on rectangular paper strip pasted down on back inside cover of previous binding; remained in the Bureta family until the 19th century; stamped armorial ex-libris on fol. 1: Conde de Bureta); purchased from Mitchell Samuels of French & Company in May 1929.

Four leaves thought to have originally belonged to this manuscript are in the Fundación Lázaro Galdiano, Madrid; these leaves are illustrated in Manuscritos con pinturas ; notas para un inventario de los conservados en colecciones públicas y particulares de España (1933).
Decoration: 2 full-page miniatures, 19 half-page miniatures; 2 full-page portraits of later owners added by Spanish artists, one late 15th century and one early 16th century.
Artist: attributed by Millard Meiss to a follower of Jacquemart de Hesdin and the workshop of the Master of Luçon.
