Inscribed by the artist, "An encouraging reward I shall doe it / For poysening the King fivtene thowsend pounds / for Stabing the King this / for firing the city this / f[or] murding Godfrey this / Shafsbary this / To turn the plot upon the protestants / The Infernall Conclave".
