Binding: 
Gilt-tooled black morocco for Pieter Spiering, with the classmark 126 on the spine and the title Dooden dans v: H:H: along with the date 1637 on the front cover. Other Spiering 1637 bindings are described in Jan G. Van Gelder and Ingrid Jost, Jan de Bisschop and his Icones & Paradigmata (1985), vol. 1, pp. 200-6.
Provenance: 
Presentation inscription to Guillaume Glorian dated 17 July 1681 and wax seal of the Fabrique G. Glorian. Cipher AB dated 1850 and inscription "s[anc]tae Genovefae 1735" on title-page.
