Forms part of a collection of 586 etchings by and after Claude Gillot, mounted into a bound album by a former owner, with letterpress title page reading "Oeuvres de Gillot." (see PML 198162).

Summary:
Illustration shows a scene in the forest, where an elephant at center and an ox at right stand, as a lion lies on the ground at left; they are surrounded at left and right by a gathering of many different animals.
