The right foreground has been heavily worked and darkened with drypoint. Rework in drypoint on the columns supporting the canopy on the left and cross-hatching added to the arch in the left foreground so that it now reaches down to the level of the capitals. The sky is accidentally covered with long curving scratches. (White and Boon)
