The Department of Modern and Contemporary Drawings is seeking an unpaid intern to assist in conducting research on the permanent collection and in researching exhibitions of drawings. Responsibilities will include research at local libraries, compiling checklists, organizing files, helping with various aspects of catalog preparation, drafting professional correspondence, and miscellaneous office tasks.
This position offers a great opportunity to gain substantial, wide-ranging experience in a museum environment. It is open to graduate students, B.A. graduates and undergraduates at advanced stages in their art history or other relevant coursework.
The internship requires a commitment of one or two days per week, for the duration of at least three months.
