2020–21 the Center for Spain in America (CSA) Curatorial Fellowship

(Full-time)

The Morgan Library & Museum is pleased to announce the Center for Spain in America (CSA) Fellowship in the Department of Drawings and Prints. In 2021, the Morgan and the Biblioteca Nacional de España (BNE) will co-organize a pair of exhibitions: the Morgan’s collection of Spanish drawings will be shown in Madrid, and the highlights of the BNE collection of Spanish drawings will be exhibited in New York. In conjunction with these projects, the CSA Fellow will primarily serve as co-author for the catalogue of Spanish drawings from the Morgan (writing and editing to be completed by the beginning of 2021), and secondarily work on the exhibition of the BNE drawings in New York. The fellowship is designed to provide an intensive scholarly, professional, and international experience through the Department of Drawings and Prints at the Morgan, under the guidance of department head John Marciari. The CSA will provide support for the fellow as well as the related publication.  The fellow is anticipated to be in residence at the Morgan from early summer 2020 through the opening of the exhibition at the Morgan in February 2021.

The Morgan Library & Museum is committed to diversity and is proud to be an equal opportunity employer. The Morgan strongly encourages applicants with a demonstrated commitment to fostering diversity, inclusion, and gender equity in programming, outreach, hiring, and collection development.
