Description:
Christ: Crucifixion—The Virgin Mary, who is veiled, and Evangelist John, who is kneeling and weeping, flank Christ, who, wearing a crown of thorns and a short loincloth, is affixed to the cross with three nails.
The miniature and text are framed by a border decorated with flowers, strawberries, a snail, a bee, and two butterflies.
