On Monday, November 9 the Morgan hosted its annual Evening Benefit. Guests entered through the glorious front doors of the original McKim building on East 36th Street and the dinner was held in the Renzo Piano-designed Gilbert Court. Throughout the evening, all of the Morgan’s historic rooms and galleries were open for guests to view exceptional exhibitions of Henri Matisse, Ernest Hemingway, and the sculptor Martin Puryear.
