This catalogue accompanied the Morgan’s 2011 exhibition of more than one hundred drawings and photographs from the collection assembled by American fashion designer Herbert Kasper. The collection is focused in three areas: sixteenth- and seventeenth-century old master drawings from the Mannerist period, modern and contemporary drawings, and photography. With a forward by the Morgan’s director, William M. Griswold, and a preface by Kasper, this beautifully illustrated catalogue includes scholarly entries on these rarely seen, important works.
