Irish-born author, playwright, and poet Oscar Wilde is known not
only for his works of literature but also as one of the leading members
of late nineteenth century England's aestheticism movement. Some of his famous works include The Importance of Being Earnest and Lady Windermere's Fan.
His eccentricities and unconventional lifestyle at the time drew public
