This Zodiac illumination from a fifteenth century Italian Book of Hours is attributed to Venturino Mercati, a Milanese artist who worked on the choir books at Siena Cathedral from 1466 to 1475 and at Monte Oliveto Maggiore, near Pienza, between 1472 and 1480.
