Treasures of The Pierpont Morgan Library, New York
In this tiny jewel of a book are thematically arranged highlights of the Library's collection of medieval and Renaissance manuscripts, the finest in this country. Spanning some ten centuries of illumination, the reproductions are from such notable manuscripts as the Morgan Beatus, the Berthold Sacramentary, Old Testament Miniatures, Gaston Phébus's Livre de la chasse, the Cleves Hours, and the Farnese Hours.
