These earrings feature a reproduction of a silhouette created c. 1801 that is presumed to be Jane Austen. It was pasted into a second edition of Mansfield Park and inscribed "L'aimable Jane". The silhouette has been attributed to an early nineteenth-century silhouette-maker, Mrs. Collins of Bath.
