Of Water, Colors, and Light: Basic Watercolor Technique
Watercolor, a favored medium of the British landscape artists through the Romantic period, is the focus of this workshop, offered to coincide with A Dialogue with Nature: Romantic Landscape Drawings in Britain and Germany. After a short tour of the exhibition, artist and Art Students League Instructor Naomi Campbell will lead participants in the basics of watercolor landscapes, using the fluidity of the medium to reinterpret photographs that will serve as inspiration. Materials will be provided.
