Perspectives of Faith on Film
To coincide with the exhibition Illuminating Faith: The Eucharist in Medieval Life and Art, the Morgan is screening two films that examine the divergence between new and more traditional religious practices and beliefs.

The Bells of St. Mary

Bing Crosby reprises his Oscar-winning role as Father Charles “Chuck” O’Malley, an unconventional Catholic priest who must work with the staunch, but stubborn Sister Mary Benedict (Ingrid Bergman), to save a dilapidated school.
