Directed by a master of Surrealist cinema and co-written with Salvador Dali, this avant-garde surrealist comedy is a gleeful fever dream of Freudian unease, bizarre humor, and shocking imagery. Starring Gaston Modot and Lya Lys, and the famed surrealist painter Max Ernst. This screening is presented in conjunction with the exhibition Drawing Surrealism.
