When the Turkish royal Mustafà (Michele Pertusi) plots to marry off his wife, little does he know that his conquest of the shipwrecked Isabella (Marianna Pizolatto) will teach his court a few things about love and Italian women. Rossini's comedic masterpiece is staged at the Teatro Communale di Bologna, with the orchestra and chorus conducted by Paolo Olmi.
