George London Foundation Recital Series This annual series of recitals presents pairs of stellar opera singers, many of whom were winners of a George London prize early in their careers, or recent George London Award recipients.
Anthony Dean Griffey, tenor
Emalie Savoy, soprano
Ken Noda, piano Anthony Dean Griffey's powerful portrayal of the title role of Britten's Peter Grimes, has won him worldwide critical acclaim. Emalie Savoy made her Metropolitan Opera debut during the 2011–12 season as Kristina in Leos Janácek's The Makropulos Case.
(Mr. Griffey replaces the originally-announced Matthew Polenzani, who has had to withdraw because of a scheduling conflict. Mr. Polenzani will participate in the George London Foundation Recital Series next season.)
