The 2017 Kenneth A. Lohf Poetry Reading: Eileen Myles

An influential and brilliant voice in American letters, Eileen Myles is a poet, novelist, performer, teacher, and art writer, whose books include Chelsea Girls (1994), I Must Be Living Twice: New & Selected Poems (2015), Sorry, Tree (2007), Cool for You (2000), and The Importance of Being Iceland: Travel Essays in Art (2009). Myles is the recipient of numerous awards, including a Guggenheim Fellowship, four Lambda Book Awards, and the Shelley Prize from the Poetry Society of America. Join us for the second annual reading in a series honoring Kenneth A. Lohf (1925–2002)—a scholar, rare book librarian, and member of the Council of Fellows, who bequeathed to the Morgan his vast collection of books and manuscripts by English poets. The program will take place in Mr. Morgan’s Library and is followed by a reception.
