Ms. written and illuminated, probably in Shīrāz, between 1852 and 1856.
Scribe: ʻAlī ibn al-Ḥusain al-Kātib al-Shīrāzi.
Decoration: 5 miniatures, 2 elaborate headpieces, 2 elaborate borders, 59 borders with gold floral designs; numerous spaces left for miniatures and headpieces.
The outside borders only contain verses from the Koran in Arabic Thuluth script.
Artist: Luṭf ʻAlī Khān is the artist of the miniatures on fol. 27r, 31v, 51r, and 86r; the miniature on fol. 190 is by another artist.
