Acquired as Francesco Torbido (called il Moro), Venice 1482/85-1561/2 Verona; the drawing bears an old attribution to "... del Moro".

Inscribed at lower left, in pen and brown ink, cropped by edge, "[...]o del Moro"; on mount, beneath the drawing, in pen and brown ink, "Torbido, detto il Moro.-"; at lower left, in graphite, "123".
